In a world that’s constantly changing, it’s important to recognize those who are making an impact in their field. That’s why it’s so exciting to hear that Rupal Hollenbeck and Nisha Holt have been named SIA Women in Security Forum (WISF) Power 100 honorees. These two women are at the forefront of the security industry, and their contributions are nothing short of inspiring and inimitable.
Rupal Hollenbeck, President of Check Point, has been recognized for her contributions to the cyber security industry and for her leadership within the broader community. With over 25 years in the technology industry, Hollenbeck has worked with some of the biggest names in tech, including Oracle and Intel. But it’s not just Hollenbeck’s business and technical expertise that set her apart.
An advocate for professional women around the world, Hollenbeck started several women’s initiatives while at Intel and served as co-chair of the Board of Intel’s Network of Executive Women in Asia. She’s also a Founding Circle Member of Neythri, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the professional advancement of South Asian women.
Nisha Holt, Head of Americas Channels at Check Point, has also been named an SIA Women in Security Forum (WISF) Power 100 honoree. Holt has been in the cyber security industry for over 20 years, with a concentrated focus on helping organizations grow through partnerships, alliances and other routes to market. Prior to Check Point, she was a Global Strategic Alliances Director at Symantec. In 2022, Holt was recognized by CRN, a media brand of The Channel Company, for her work.
However, it’s not just Holt’s talent and expertise that make her stand out as a strong leader. She’s also a champion of diversity and inclusion, both within Check Point and in the wider cyber security sector. She’s been featured in Authority Magazine and spoken out about the importance of creating a more diverse and inclusive workforce.
The recognition of Hollenbeck and Holt as 2023 Power 100 list honorees is a testament to their hard work, dedication and leadership in the cybersecurity space. Their contributions have made a difference in reaching shared company goals and in making the world a safer place.
Nonetheless, their recognition is also a reminder that there’s still work to be done. Hollenbeck and Holt are among those leading the charge in transforming mindsets across the tech sector, but that objective can’t be accomplished in a silo. It’s up to all of us to support diversity and inclusion in the cyber security industry and to work towards a more equitable future for all.
